(Washington, DC)  --  The "Big Catch" fish platter at Long John Silver's is being called the "Worst Restaurant Meal in America."  The Center for Science in the Public Interest points out that the dish has more than 1300 calories, 33 grams of trans fats and 3700 milligrams of sodium.  The fish platter is made up of fried fish, cornmeal hush puppies and onion rings.

The American Heart Association recommends less than two grams of trans fats per day for a healthy life.  The Center for Science in the Public Interest says it plans to pursue legal action if Long John Silver's continues to use cooking oil which it says is unhealthy.
