The San Diego Chargers lost to the Chicago Bears 28-33 at Soldier Field. It seemed like it was de ja vu for the San Diego Chargers all over again. There was no urgency for the Chargers whose first team looked terrible. The offensive line did not block well, and Philip Rivers was getting pressured left and right. On the defensive side of the ball the Chargers first team faired well, but they need to improve if they want to be a force to be reckon with. On the bright side Ryan Mathews is running hard, and performing at a high level. At the receiver position Mike Willie opened up some eyes scoring two touchdowns. It looks like Robert Meachem days in San Diego might be over, but still has an opportunity to make the roster if he can perform well enough in the last 2 preseason games. We can count are blessing that this was not a regular season game, but hope that the Chargers can figure it out before the opener against the Houston Texans.
