A new GM, a new head coach, a new attitude, but the same old result?
The Chargers came out swinging hard and they rewarded with a 21-7 halftime lead. That lead would be extended to 28-7 early in the 3rd quarter before things started to turn south. The Houston Texans are a team many expect to contend for a Super Bowl and they showed why. Down by 21 points, they scored three consecutive touchdowns, forced the Bolts into 4 three and out possessions, and then won the game at the buzzer as Randy Bullock booted a 41 yard field to steal the game.
Texans 31 Chargers 28
Would the reaction of Charger fans have been any different if the team was down 31-7 before a late comeback attempt fell short or is the end result all that matters?
