We are talking with Laird Hamilton today. I am very pumped. This is one of those people who was born without that fear gene or whatever they call it. When you look at what this man does in the
ocean, it boggles the mind. I get freaked when I’m body surfing in small chop. I cannot fathom riding a 100-foot wave. But he does it, time and time again.
Topher celebrated his August birthday today in class, since they won’t be in session when it comes. He asked Meg to get him a red velvet cake. I HATE red velvet anything. I just don’t get it. I asked for a different cake but my wife reminded me it’s not my birthday. The bridesmaid again, not the bride.
Judson is going fly fishing tomorrow. I am excited for him. I don’t know how to fly fish and I’m not a very good fisherman, period. All those knots and spinners and lures and stuff. I like the old bamboo pole and some string.
I like her, too!
Talk to you tomorrow.
